Product Details

By definition, a quiver is a portable sheath to hold arrows and is usually carried across the back or slung over the shoulder allowing fast and easy access to the arrows. For early Native Americans the bow and arrow was the tool for hunting or fighting. When weapons were not in use, they were displayed within the households for protection from all negative and evil forces.

Quivers were traditionally made of leather, bark, fibers, wood, furs and other natural materials. This genuine Native American Quiver & Arrows reproduction is handmade by Navajo tribal member artist Larry Cly. The quiver is shaped from rawhide leather and is decorated with duck feathers, rabbit fur and elk horn. A braided leather strap is attached for carrying on the shoulder. Included with the quiver are three wooden arrows with authentic knapped flint arrowheads. The Quiver measures 20-1/2" x 4-1/2" x 3". The arrows range from 24-1/4" to 25" in length. Includes a Certificate of Authenticity. Handcrafted in the U.S.A.
