Arts & Crafts Style Mica Desk Lamp
This Arts & Crafts style desk lamp was inspired by designs by architects Greene & Greene who greatly influenced the Arts & Crafts style during the early 1900s. One of the best known, and most representative examples of their work is the Gamble House in Pasadena, California. The house and furnishings were designed by Charles and Henry Greene in 1908 for David and Mary Gamble of the Procter and Gamble Company. The house, a National Historic Landmark, is owned by the City of Pasadena.
The shade of this beautiful Arts & Crafts style desk lamp is made using authentic Mica panels. The base is zinc alloy, electro-plated and hand polished to a rich antique brown finish. The telescoping arm measures a full 22-3/4" when fully extended. Shade measures 6" in diameter.
