Hornet Racer
Cast of Aircraft Aluminum, the Hornet is a reproduction of the Cox Thimble Drome Tether Cars of the late 1940's. Those early model cars are highly collectible today. The functional wheels have rubber tires mounted on solid cast aluminum hubs. Created with detail, including the dash, black anodized steering wheel, faux leather racing seat, as well as the grill and exhaust manifold. Engine, and engine compartment does not open. Measures 5" x 3-7/8" x 9-1/2". Weighs 1 lb. 2 oz. Fun checkered flag gift box.
