Windlass Bookends
These miniature versions of an early windlass are made of cast aluminum and brass then polished to a high luster. A windlass has several uses on a ship, including regulating sail line tension and lifting and lowering an anchor.
With a heavy iron base and operational hand wheel and screw, your nautical editions will be securely held in the upright position in these bookends, even if you are still trying to find your sea legs. Set measures 15" x 7" x 5". Weighs 9 lbs. 9.5 oz.
