Texas Rangers .45 Revolver Wall Display
This western display set includes a classic single action, fast draw .45 revolver with a distinctive five-point star inlaid in the natural wood grips. The revolver is suspended on two pegs with spring loaded bullet reproductions that hold it firmly in place. This "gun" is non-firing but has functional action that allows you to cock the hammer, spin the cylinder, pull the trigger and open the shell ejector. Known as the Peacemaker, Six-Shooter and Widow-Maker, many great western legends carried it. It was also the side arm for many of the well-known Texas Rangers. Also mounted on the wooden display is a replica Texas Ranger badge and a reproduction photograph of Company "D" Texas Rangers that includes Captain John R. Hughes, a prominent Ranger from May 1886 until his retirement in January 1915. A descriptive brass plaque is also mounted to the display that declares the .45 as the legendary arm of the Old West. Pine wood display measures 15-3/4" x 7-1/4" and protrudes from the wall 2-1/2". Includes hardware for hanging. Weighs 3 lbs. 14.4 oz.
