Battle Ready began life as an original painting by Southwest Missouri artist Doug Hall. It was popular as a 100-piece limited edition giclee' on canvas print and has now been selected as the subject for this decorative tile. Doug is well known in the art world for his portrayals of Eastern Woodland Indians. He has won many awards and has originals in private collections and in museums throughout the country. This masterpiece features a warrior with his hand on a powder horn and his eye on his opponent.
The image of the original painting is applied to a ceramic tile using a heat sublimation process that makes the image a part of the tile. While the image surface is durable, it will scratch. An easel back allows it to stand on a desk or shelf and there is a metal loop on the back to allow it to be hung on the wall. Printed in the U.S.A. Measures 8" x 10". Weighs 1 lb. 7.4 oz.
