This mouth-blown crystal vessel begins life in France and is shipped to the U.S. where the delicate process of multi-layer sand carving is done one piece at a time. Using templates from master carver Lorraine Coyle, sand is expelled at various speeds and pressures with the end stage being so fine it is almost like airbrushing. The number of layers on the individual carving depends on the intricacy of the design. Two elephants in the wild are depicted on opposite sides of the bowl. Measures 4-3/8" x 4-3/8".
