Four Blade Wooden Propeller
Borrowing from existing nautical knowledge of the time, the assumption that a modified ship's propeller could possibly work in the air turned out to be true. Propellers went through a lot of experimentation before becoming what we see today. This antique replica of a 4-blade prop is very similar to a pusher-type prop dating back to the early 1900s. The wooden blades have a fine French finish and are detailed with gray and teal blue tips. From the early years of planes, original propellers became coveted collectibles. This replica is a perfect wall decoration for lovers of classic aircraft, anyone interested in early aviation or Air Force veterans. Some assembly required. Comes with mounting hardware. Measures 27-1/2" tip to tip. Weighs 1 lb. 13.6 oz.
