French Transatlantic Steamer Chair
This authentic reproduction of a 1950s French Transatlantic steamer chair was inspired by one found in an auction house in the late 90s. Reproduced to look exactly like the original, it is constructed of durable canvas and sturdy pine that has been stained a rich brown with black accents for contrast. Brass hardware. Meticulous details. Is easily folded and stored or moved, making it an excellent side, or all occasion chair. Tested to support 220 lbs. Heirloom quality. It is easy to imagine these chairs lining the First Class deck of cruise ships of the era. Seat rests at 16" above the floor. Measures 23-1/2" x 22" x 34-1/4" tall. Weighs 11.35 lbs.
