The ancient Greeks used leather strips to protect their hands and the Romans added spikes and studs to make it a bit more interesting. Thankfully, the evolution of boxing made it more civilized with rules and regulations and padded gloves.
These full size reproduction vintage boxing gloves are handmade and hand sewn using distressed water buffalo leather, string lace ups and are lined with cotton. Not to be used in the ring, for decorative purposes only. Measures 13" long x 7-1/2" wide.
