Gerstner 1800's Collectors Chest
This is a First Production Run of a new Gerstner Collectors Chest based on of some of the old tool chest designs from the late 1800's. Gerstner & Sons, established in 1906, is still owned and managed by family members of the founders. Still located in Dayton, Ohio, they make the finest wooden chests we can find. Designed and built to last a lifetime, the impeccable quality with meticulous attention to detail is exactly what you would expect from this exceptional company. Compact in size, ideal for storing antique tools, knives, watches and various other prized collectibles.
Constructed of American Black Walnut with hand-fitted parts, antique brass drawer knobs, three drawers and a top well opening under a hinged lid. Overall size is 15-1/2" x 8-3/4" x 8-3/4" tall. Inside drawer dimensions are 12-3/8" x 5-1/2". Drawer depths are 5/8" graduating to 1-1/2" deep, top to bottom. Top well measures 13-1/4" x 6-1/2" x 1-1/8" deep. Felt lined. Beautiful hand-rubbed lacquer finish. Weighs 13 lbs. With craftsmanship that is second to none, it is sure to become a family heirloom. First Production Certificate of Authenticity is included.
