Leatherman Skeletool with Damasteel Blade
Limited to 2017 Production
At the 2007 S.H.O.T. Show, we were shown a prototype of Leatherman's new, at the time, Skeletool™ and Skeletool™ CX. The basic premise was a really lightweight pocket tool with the most needed features and one hand opening and closing. In 2017, Leatherman decided to do a little testing with very high quality, and expensive materials by producing a limited edition Skeletool with a Rose Pattern Damasteel blade. Damasteel® is forged in Soderfros, Sweden.
The tool includes a 2-1⁄2" blade and Leatherman's long proven pliers, wirecutters, and universal driver with two double end screwdriver bits. It also has a removable pocket clip and a bottle opener/carabineer for easy attachment to your clothing or gear. The handles are stainless. This is truly a pocket tool at only 4-1⁄8" in length when closed, and weighing a scant 5.2 oz. It is shaped to fit comfortably in your hand no matter which feature you are using. Each tool includes two bits - #1 and #2 and 3⁄16" and 1⁄4" - which store in the handle. Constructed in Leatherman's factory in Portland, Oregon, U.S.A. Suggested retail is $175.95.
