Handcrafted from Reclaimed Oak Wine Barrel Staves, each swing is one-of-a-kind. The color will vary widely based on the type of wine that was aged in the barrel. Hang it from a strong tree branch and see how long before someone just has to sit on it. This swing is extremely well built and there is no rope to rot. Hardware for hanging, including a high grade steel bracket along with washers and nuts and a 5' length of chain for each end of the swing, is part of the package.
The weather-resistant wood has a protective outdoor finish to repel the effects of sun and water. Manufacturer recommends treating the wood at least once a year with teak oil, or other oil you use to preserve your wooden outdoor furniture. I would take it down and store it inside during the winter to keep it in tip top shape. The slightly curved seat measures approximately 14-1/2" x 36-1/4". Rated at 200 lbs.
