WWII Reproduction Altimeter Wall Clock
This enlarged version of a clock found in a WWII Army Air Corps plane features a black dial that reduced glare with large numbers and hands that were designed to be easily seen, even when descending rapidly from 30,000 feet. The dial is a reproduction of an authentic altimeter that displayed the plane’s altitude in thousands of feet. The housing is heavy duty aluminum with brass fittings. High quality materials and meticulous handwork. This is not a functioning altimeter, just a clock. Measures 7-1/8" high x 6-3/4" x 2-1/4" deep. Weighs 1 lb. 15.6 oz. Requires a single AA battery (not included).
