Randall Model 4 Skinner – Desert Ironwood
In September of 1939, W.D. Randall began stamping his knives with the same mark you see on them today. Being a fine knifemaker, a great businessman, and a master in the art of self-promotion helped W. D. Randall to become the best-known maker of handmade knives in the world.
4-1/2" upswept skinning blade of 3/16" O-1 tool steel stock. Handle is Desert Ironwood, with a nickel silver hilt and black and aluminum spacers. The blade has lots of belly for skinning game of any size, in fact more than any of their other skinners. Weighs 4.5 oz. Wrist thong. Leather sheath. This is still one of Randall's most popular models.
