Miniature Fireman's Ax
This would make a wonderful gift for an active or retired firefighter or for someone who is a lover of miniature tools. Handmade with an axe head of 1035 low carbon steel and a handle of curly maple. Instead of using an oval hole to attach the handle, three intersecting holes are drilled through the head creating approximately three times the surface area to secure the handle. The axe measures 6-3/8" from the top of the head to the end of the handle. The edge measures 1-3/16". Weighs 2.1 oz. Simple brown leather snap sheath. Made in the U.S.A.
