A.G. Russell™ Field Tweezers
This little pair of tweezers played an important role in establishing the "War on Troop Boredom", our program of sending used paperback books and DVDs, a pair of these tweezers, magazines and a knife to troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. Shortly following our entry into Iraq in 2003, a customer called with the suggestion that we provide these much sought after tweezers. He was a retired soldier and had first hand experience with the convenience of carrying this simple little tool on his Dog Tags. We found the source and from the beginning have been providing them as a part of the package we send.
"I have never had a pair of tweezers in my life that was worth a damn. Now I do and I appreciate it very much." Those words were spoken by General Norman Schwarzkopf about these little field tweezers.
Invented by a gentleman in W. Hartford, CT. out of necessity to remove slivers of all kinds, these 1-3/4" tweezers have become a favorite among our troops. Each piece is crafted from a single piece of spring-tempered stainless steel, and the points are hand ground to provide the pin-point gripping accuracy. Each tweezer comes with a stainless steel clip holder that easily attaches to keyrings, dog tag chains, or just about anything else you can think of. Crafted entirely in the United States with high quality 100% American made stainless steel. At these prices, you can afford to put one in your tool box, office, first aid kit and your car.
