Route 66 Jigsaw Puzzles
Route 66, established in 1926 and officially removed from the state highway system in 1985, was once referred to as America's Mother Road. It stretched 2,448 miles from Chicago to Los Angeles and was the primary road used for families migrating west during the Great Depression. Motels, gas stations and diners were dotted along this iconic highway. It was a sight to see in its heyday. These puzzles show detailed scenes of timeless classic cars, filling stations, restaurants and motels signs. We have chosen two: the "Bomber Command Cafe" and "Drive Through on Route 66". Each 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzle is printed on extra thick recycled chipboard. The hand drawn pattern for the cutting dies used to cut the pieces create a variety of shapes for fully interlocking pieces. A bonus poster is included. Completed, each puzzle measures 19-1/4" x 26-3/4".
