Treetop Advantage
by Doug Hall
Treetop Advantage is another magnificent portrayal of an Eastern Woodlands warrior by Southwest Missouri artist Doug Hall. Doug's new masterpiece features a solitary tracker perched high on the side of a tree, valiantly standing watch, while holding the white man's weapon.
Doug grew up in Southwest Missouri, where he still lives surrounded by the Huckleberry State Forest. A fascination for the history and culture of the native peoples of the Eastern Woodlands has led to many hours studying their daily routines, dress and living arrangements. Doug has won many awards for his paintings of their everyday lives. The effect of his dedication to the subject is evident in his paintings.
