Wine Barrel Dough Bowls
What a wonderful way to re-use the beautiful wood in the wine barrel staves once the wine has been bottled. Handcrafted from French Oak wine barrel staves, these dough bowls make wonderful serving trays or use them to display fruits and vegetables or decorative items on the kitchen counter. Built to take advantage of the rich variations of texture, color and grain in the material, the refined rustic style adds drama and warmth. Solidly constructed. The coloring of the inside of the bowl is the result of staining from the aging of the wine and will vary depending on the type of wine, making each piece a true original. The bottom has had a dark walnut stain applied. Medium bowl is approximately 18" x 9" and weighs around 4 lbs. 10.6 oz. The large bowl measures approximately 28" x 10-3/4" and weighs around 8 lbs. 6.5 oz. Food Safe. Built in the U.S.A.
